Ссылка действиетельно полезна. Только на первом этапе многие из функций не требуются, (да и на последующем тоже). Как социолог скажу, что шаблоны шкал которые там предлагают не совсем подходят для опроса.
Если на пальцах: два окна, в одном забивается кодировка (DATA), в другом собственно полученные данные (VARIABLE).
В окне DATA в первом стобце забивается имя вопроса. Я как правило пишу Воп1, Воп2 (т.е. номер вопроса). Имя должно начинатся с буквы, в нем не должно быть пробела, ограничено 8 символами, никаких кавычек, не должно содержать символы другого алфавита.
Во втором столбце смело ставьте Numeric.
В третьем не помню, по-моему 2(насколько помню, 2 ставится если подразумевается что в шкалу входят более 9 вариантов ответа, если обозначить 1 кодировка огарничивается однозначным числом).
В четвертом 0 (по-моему это обозначение отказа от использования десятичныйх знаков при кодировке).
Далее Русским языком (label) пишешь формулировку вопроса. В следующем столбце собственно кодируешь варианты ответа. В поле Value ставишь номер ответа на вопрос (в соответствии с номером который обозначен в анкете). В поле Value label собственно сам вариант ответа, присвоенный данному номеру. Жмешь Добавить. И так пока не забьешь все ответы на вопрос.
В вопросах где подразумевается несколько вариантов ответа, все немного сложнее.
Здесь каждый ответ приходится забивать как отдельный вопрос (выполняешь стандартную процедуру, в первом столбце пишешь, например воп1.1). В столбце label пишешь формулировку ответа, в следующем столбце кодируешь под цифрой 1 "да", под цифрой 2 "нет" (т.е. если респондент выбрал этот вариант ответа жмешь 1, если не выбрал жмешь 2).
В следующем столбце ставишь None (комп должен выставить ее по умолчанию), в следующем цифру 8 (размер ячейки), дальше параметры выравнивания (советую Right). В последнем тип шкалы (номинальная, ранговая и т.д.)
Собственно все. Это стандартные установки, которые используются чаще всего. Забиваешь шаблон анкеты и в путь.
Переходишь в окно VARIABLE, забиваешь коды по вопросам (по горизонтали).
Открытые вопросы лучше обрабатывать вручную.
Совет: каждую анкету после того как забил нумеруй, потом сам скажешь спасибо.
Обработка данных это другая тема, тебе до нее еще далеко.
